RECYCLE - REDUCE - REUSE
The ST1 team
continue to defend green practices. On Thursday May 15th we
organised a campaign. We took our banners with the 3 R's and went to the
other classes to hand out leaflets. We explained to the younger students how they
can make a change. The leaflets were taken home to share with the rest of the
family.

What can you do?
-Switch off the lights when you leave the room.
-Don’t leave the water running when you brush your teeth.
-Prefer shower to bath.
-Don’t do the dishes use the dish washer.
-Don’t use your car for short distances.
-Go to school on foot.
-For long distances use public means of transport
-Don’t litter. Put recycling items into recycling bins
-Try to cook as much food as you need in order to not produce any
waste
-Buy electric appliances with a+ or a++
-Buy biodigradeable, eco-friendly products
-Eat organic food or grow your own garden
-Use compost instead of fertilizers
-Take care of the forests because they are the lungs of the earth
-Plant a tree and participate in planting campaigns
